Examples
- Raffle tickets 1–250: set min 1 and max 250, with no repeats.
- Dice: 1 to 6 with repeats allowed. For two dice, ask for 2 numbers.
- UK Lotto-style line: 6 numbers from 1 to 59, no repeats, sorted. (This is just for fun: it can't improve your odds.)
- Pick a page or question: any range you like.
Is it fair?
Yes. Picks use the browser's cryptographically secure random generator (crypto.getRandomValues) with rejection sampling, so every option has exactly the same chance, with no "modulo bias". Nothing you enter leaves your device, and the page doesn't remember past results. For a public draw, such as a raffle or prize, share your screen or record it so everyone can see the result.
Frequently asked questions

More questions
Is the result truly random?
The tool uses the browser's cryptographic random number generator (crypto.getRandomValues), which is suitable for fair draws and security uses. Every option has the same chance.
Can I use it for a raffle or giveaway?
Yes for informal draws. For UK prize draws and lotteries, check the Gambling Commission rules and keep a record (screenshot) of the draw.
Why did the same result come up twice?
Random does not mean evenly spread. With replacement, repeats happen naturally – see the birthday chart above.
Are my lists saved?
No. Names and lists stay in your browser tab and are gone when you close it.
