Uses for a random picker
Settle what to have for dinner, choose the next film, decide who does the washing-up, order presentation slots, pick a quiz question, or randomise a playlist or reading list. "Shuffle whole list" uses the Fisher–Yates algorithm, so every possible order is equally likely.
Is it fair?
Yes. Picks use the browser's cryptographically secure random generator (crypto.getRandomValues) with rejection sampling, so every option has exactly the same chance, with no "modulo bias". Nothing you enter leaves your device, and the page doesn't remember past results. For a public draw, such as a raffle or prize, share your screen or record it so everyone can see the result.
