Adding and subtracting times
Convert each time to seconds, add or subtract, then convert back. Example: 2:45:30 + 1:20:15 = 4:05:45. You can enter mm:ss for times under an hour, or a single number of seconds.
Unit conversion
150 minutes = 2.5 hours = 2:30:00. Use convert mode when a timesheet shows decimal hours and you need hh:mm:ss, or the other way round.
Common uses
- Sum video clip lengths for an edit
- Add study blocks across a week
- Subtract a break from a shift (or use the hours calculator for clock times)
For the average of several lap times, use the average time calculator.
