How to Check Installed Updates on Windows 11 and 10 (Settings, PowerShell and KB Checks)

To check installed updates on Windows 11, open Settings > Windows Update > Update history. For a quick list in PowerShell, run Get-HotFix. To confirm one patch, run Get-HotFix -Id KB followed by its number, and remember that wmic qfe no longer exists on current Windows 11.
